Obsessing after all

I know I said that this was like any other two week wait but I lied. Holy crap I'm already thinking two weeks ahead wondering lots of things:

shouldn't I be taking progesterone because I'm not and I've had a miscarriage already that we don't know the reason for...

how will Seb get another day off from his new job to repeat his sperm test that will be outdated before the next iui and then get another day off if we have to do another iui...

how on earth will we squeeze in three iui's over the next three months without my body being completely exhausted by Spring...

will an eventual IVF be a failure because we squeezed in all these lame procedures and manipulated my cycle way too many times...
And of course I could go on and on and on.

Honestly, I think the progesterone is a very good idea. I know that these doctors don't like suggestions, but I wonder if Dr. S (who sounds reasonable except for not ordering the labs) would give you a script. I wonder if the new pharmacist would be able to help you? Wish I could hand you my prometrium through the computer. . .

No I already know he won't. I was on the prog supps for my ivf with Dr. Dieu and when I ran out he refused to refill the prescription because he's from that camp who believes that progesterone only prolongs the inevitable mc and doesn't play an actual role in maintaining the early pregnancy. He never orders prog levels either which I hate!

I'd have to go through his suckrectary to even get to him and she'll be a bitch as usual. I may try but I'm not sure what technique to use to get him to fork over the 'scrip though...saving my sanity perhaps? I don't think the pharmacy can help bc it's something you need a prescription for. I think I'll go and ask tomorrow anyway.

Thanks for being paranoid with me!

What are friends for if not to be paranoid? LOL.

Before I project my paranoia too far, it is worth noting that your luteal phase is normal. Mine was less than 10 days and as short as 7 days.

Good luck with the pharmacist. Maybe a natural progesterone formula like I see in the menopause section of Whole Foods would do the trick.
